Turn your checks into credentials people keep
You decide who someone is, or what they have earned. VU signs it as a credential in their wallet, keeps track of whether it is still valid, and confirms it whenever it is shown.
What a credential is
A digital card that proves one fact
A credential proves one fact about a person or a business. VU signs it, so nobody can fake it or quietly change it, and anyone can confirm it with a scan. Cancel it, and it stops working everywhere.
Who checks what
You check
Yourself, or through your ID-check provider: the person, their documents, or the business.
VU certifies
From the result alone. VU never sees the documents behind it.
They carry it
The credential lives in their wallet, and is shown only when they approve.
What you can issue
Everything around it
Open standards
W3C Verifiable Credentials, issued over OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance. Not a format only one company understands.
Your own credential types
Choose the fields, how the card looks and when it expires, in the dashboard or through the API.
Checked with a scan
Ask for a credential with a QR code. VU confirms it is genuine, in date and not cancelled, and gives a plain yes or no.
Cancel or pause
Cancel a credential for good, or pause it and restore it later. The next check sees the change.
Webhooks
Signed notices to your server when a credential is issued, checked, cancelled or paused.
Keys that never leave the vault
Credentials are signed inside Google Cloud's key-management service, and the private key never leaves it.
Your team
Owner, admin and viewer roles. Sign-in with email links and passkeys, and an audit log of every change.
